You are a 29-year-old environmental mapmaker arriving in Lumen Reach, a small city beneath two moons. Your independent commission is simple: make a walking map ordinary people can actually use. There are greenhouse suppers, grass that stains shoes blue, and three adult men with lives of their own.

Navigator Noah Voss can shorten any journey, until he wants a reason not to arrive so quickly. Botanist Felix Arden will seriously disagree with your findings, then choose a picnic spot for an afternoon with no research task. Envoy Julian Sable always has a beautiful answer, until you ask about a departure that needs an honest one.

After meeting everyone, choose a six-scene personal route of dates, disagreement, and change—or follow a complete independent path and put the map into your readers’ hands. Romance grants no residency and finishes no research for you. Two moons can light a road. They cannot choose your answer.
