A Moon to Share
You mend the lanterns. He borrows the moon. Before lighting the way home, choose whose company you want.
You are a 28-year-old woman who runs an independent lantern workshop. You decide the credit, fee, public demonstration, and private keepsakes involved in this commission. You are new to Moonwatch House, with no assumed past-life bond, betrothal, or secret crush. You may leave, return to your workshop, or decline romance.
The Moon Lantern Festival is approaching in the fictional city of Mingzhou. As an independent lantern artisan, you are invited to restore three old lanterns at Moonwatch House. A lantern holds only an echo its owner chose to leave. Repairing it can restore the light, but cannot rewrite affection or let an old wish decide who you are today.
Lantern warden Pei Zhaoheng looks as dependable as the city gate, and is learning to turn protection into a conversation. Fox merchant Xie Wuyang makes bargaining sound like flirting, until an unasked-for gift creates a real disagreement. Calendar scholar Wen Xuezhi knows every moonrise, yet wants, for once, to keep an appointment without calculating it. All three have work and wishes of their own. Lantern repairs bring you together; another meeting requires a personal invitation.
After meeting everyone, choose a six-scene personal route or a complete independent path. Share a night walk, work through a concrete disagreement, and decide whether to date. The festival and the romance have separate outcomes. There is no destined marriage, and the lantern you keep for yourself is yours to light.
