YOUR IDEA · A PRIVATE FIRST DRAFT
Create your own
AI romance story.
Start with the relationship you wish you could step into. One sentence can give Otome App a role for you, someone to meet, and a reason the conversation matters. Create a playable text draft, try its opening privately, and adjust the parts that do not feel like your story yet.
An account is required to create. Text creation and private preview play are free.
One role, one relationship, one complication
You can begin without character sheets, a chapter outline, or a list of endings. Tell the creator who you are in the scene, how you know the other person, and what puts you together now. A clear situation is more useful for a first draft than a catalogue of personality traits.
“A reserved musician” describes someone. “I am the sound engineer working with the musician who stopped answering my calls, and tonight our rehearsal is running late” gives both of you something to talk about. Add the mood you want if it matters: awkward and funny, quietly affectionate, or tense but hopeful.
Go from an idea to a conversation
- Write the premise.Open the one-line creator on the home page. Type your setup in your own words. You can edit it before starting; an idea does not need to sound like a book blurb.
- Sign in and create. If you are signed out, starting opens sign-in and keeps your idea in this browser. Return to the creator and start the draft. Generation prepares the story and its private playable opening.
- Play the opening yourself.Write a reply as your character. See whether the first scene makes sense, whether the other character has something to say, and whether you feel curious enough to answer again.
- Change one thing that matters.Use the creator workspace to adjust the setup or characters, then try the story again. Keep the conversation that works; change the detail that prevents it from feeling right.
Three one-sentence ideas to make your own
These are original writing starters to adapt before you generate a story. Copy a premise into the creator and change the role, relationship, or setting before you start.
Make something for yourself first
Creating a draft opens a private preview; it does not put your story into the public catalog. You can try the relationship before deciding whether to develop it further. There is no need to turn a personal idea into a polished release just to find out whether you enjoy it.
For a useful first check, stay with one moment. Ask the question your character has been avoiding, make an invitation, or disagree about the shared task. If the scene only works after you explain a missing fact, add that fact to the setup.
What is free, and what uses Starlight?
Text story creation and private preview play are free. Optional AI editing and media generation use Starlight, so you can start with the conversation and decide later whether to add those extras. A new account receives 600 Starlight once.
Playing a published public story uses Starlight: standard public replies cost 5 Starlight each. See the current Starlight options if you want to explore those stories as well.
